Helping North Carolina Storm Victims

BLUEFIELD, WV (WVNS) – Relief efforts for those who were affected by storm and flooding damage from what was Hurricane Florence are getting help from the Mountain State.  Grants Supermarket, based in Bluefield, WV, announced they are gathering supplies to take south.

According to a release from the company, there will be drop off locations at all 16 Grants locations in West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina.  They are taking items such as non-perishable foods, water, personal hygiene items, pet food and more.  They are not taking clothes due to transportation space.

They will be collecting items through the immediate future.  Officials said God’s Pit Crew will be at their Sparta, NC location on Sept. 29, 2018.
